Towards Resilient Warning Communication with: Warning communication knowledge network
The efforts of the AlertHub network focus on coordinating research and building capacity to support a shared understanding of regional challenges, compare national warning systems, and identify what works—where, why, and for whom.
AlertHub also serves as a capacity-building hub. It fosters knowledge exchange, supports interdisciplinary, solution-oriented collaboration, enables the creation of a transnational hub for stakeholders, and ensures the involvement of specific target groups.
The research coordination objectives aim at developing a shared understanding of regional challenges, harmonizing data collection and curation, comparing warning systems based on countries’ exposure to climate-related risks and crises, collaborating internationally on an open-access knowledge platform dedicated to researchers, practitioners and policymakers, providing input to stakeholders, and disseminating results to both the public and key stakeholder.
