Become part of the AlertHub Network
AlertHub is dedicated to fostering meaningful engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive approach on topics related to warning, risk, disaster and crisis communication and management.
Who can be interested in joining our network?
Researchers in crisis and risk communication
AlertHub is research-oriented, aiming not only to build interdisciplinary bridges, but also to enable researchers across Europe and beyond to contribute to and benefit from shared data, joint publications, and the open-access platform.
AlertHub especially welcomes PhD students and early career researchers.
Civil contingencies agencies and disaster management authorities
Since these agencies are directly involved in issuing and managing public warnings, their participation in AlertHub’s collaborative research and exchanges allows them to both contribute to and draw from a European knowledge network, benchmarking initiatives, and shared best-practice guidelines that support improved warning systems and cross-border cooperation.
Policymakers and public authorities
The Action aims to produce governance recommendations and legal-political framework assessments, making it highly relevant for actors who play a key role in regulating and funding warning systems.
Media and Public Communication Professionals
Including public service broadcasters, independent journalists, and science journalists, who play a central role in disseminating timely and accurate information to the public. AlertHub is also interested in broadening its reach by including their professional perspective and expertise on warning communication.
